I have been practicing yoga for about two years now, but only recently started to practice it with my baby daughter in my arms. My daughter was born in France and one of the main reasons I started practicing yoga was the fact I wanted to learn how to be a good mother and motherhood was taking too much time of my busy schedule, which is good because we made good use of this. THE CHALLENGE OF PARENTINGI love yoga and it is one of the reasons why I practice regularly. It makes me stronger and more flexible but it also helps me to get in tune with my body. Also, for me it's about feeling more confident in myself so that I can express myself better, thanks to yoga. The benefits of practicing yoga were quickly evident. I felt fitter and more energetic. I can’t exercise as much as before, but I can still do yoga, which is great because for me it’s a precious time to rest where I can think clearly and focus on things that matter to me, so it's a nice way to relax and have some "me" time. I have been practicing different types of yoga for a few years now. In the past I practiced more of a hatha yoga but since my daughter was born, I have been more into a Vinyasa Flow. My instructor introduced me to this type of practice and I really liked it because I could get in touch with my body and it felt good! I never thought of becoming a yogi. In fact, at one point I did not really want to be a mother. But my energy was low and I did not feel good, so decided to do something about it. It was not easy to start practicing yoga, at first it felt too much on top of all that stress that was on me already. There were things that needed to be done on the house, on the garden..etc.. and I was tired and miserable. But I decided to make yoga a part of my life, and there's no turning back. A FATHER-DAUGHTER DYNAMICI started practicing yoga when my daughter was only one month old. I was taking an introductory course in Yoga to help me deal with the stress of becoming a new mom. These courses are great because they help me get in touch with my body and how it feels, to be more aware of what is going on around me and it helps me focus on the present moment instead of worrying about things that might or might not happen. cfa1e77820
